Lightboard Video
This is a type of video that has the instructor facing the audience while writing on a clear glass. A distinct advantage of this over the normal whiteboard writing is that instructors can illustrate lessons with a diagram or explain a formula without blocking the written materials with their bodies and without turning their back on the students. Lightboard video lessons was pioneered by Professor Michael Peshkin, Northwestern McCormick School of Engineering (MSE). It is also being used by NUS, Duke University, NTU. The session will also feature on the usage of the HD recording equipment in the Video Recording Studio located in the 6th Floor staffroom.
